Welcome
to
Albany!

The Oregon Language Center is located on 3rd Avenue SW in historic downtown Albany..

In downtown Albany, you will discover great restaurants and coffee houses, an old-fashioned movie theater, a performing arts venue, public fitness center, museums, historic homes and churches, summer festivals, and a lovely city park with bicycle paths on the banks of the Willamette River. Unique shopping venues sell everything from fashions and jewelry to bicycles and fly fishing gear. But best of all is Albany's small town charm. Our nickname, the "capital of friendly", says it all.

Historic First Avenue

With a population of 50,000, Albany has everything you need for a fun study-vacation (without the traffic and hassle of bigger cities). But if you're inclined to explore further, the Amtrak train station is just 6 blocks away, with service from Albany to West Coast cities (such as Vancouver, Seattle, and Los Angeles).
